• Introducing Kelly Brough, CEO of Fitzsimons Innovation Community
  Sometimes it’s best to start with some of the biggest news first. Kelly Brough, the new CEO of Fitzsimons Innovation Community, opens this year’s report sharing a little bit about herself and her vision for the future of our organization. We couldn’t be happier to welcome this dynamic, innovative leader to the team.

• Bringing Life Sciences Innovators Home to Colorado
  For Fitzsimons Innovation Community, choosing Colorado as our home was a strategic decision. With an active lifestyle that draws talent from all over the country, a business-friendly infrastructure that helps startups succeed, and a collaborative life sciences population that spans the whole state, we know health innovators thrive here. It’s why we were so excited to participate in the Colorado Hub for Health Impact campaign, a program designed to attract life sciences companies of all sizes to put down roots in a state that nurtures their growth and success.

• A Spotlight on Our Newest Innovators
  Want to know who’s new on campus? With so many additions to our Community in 2024, we couldn’t help but share some of their stories with you. RefinedScience and Change Please Coffee are continuing Fitzsimons Innovation Community traditions of working smarter, doing things in a new way, and building businesses that make a difference in the lives of the people they serve. Their stories are a shining example about how our Community brings out the best in business and discovery.

• Our Master Plan Got an Update
  Things have changed a lot since we started this Community 25 years ago, and it was time to make sure our vision for the future kept in step. In 2024, we did an important overhaul to our original master plan, considering the changing technology, infrastructure, and legislation around us. The result is an exciting look at what the future will bring and the confidence to know we’re prepared for it. Check out how our new master plan takes on what’s next in life sciences and economic development.
