This year, Fitzsimons Innovation Community is proudly celebrating 25 years of innovation since the grand opening of Bioscience 1 in 2000. For every one of those 25 years—and many before that—Lyle Artz, Site Manager of Fitzsimons Innovation Community, has been here. We were honored to sit down with him and discuss the history, logistics, collaboration, and hard work involved in the early days of the redevelopment of the campus and how all of those elements are still part of the Fitzsimons Innovation Community fabric 25 years later.

Aurora Lands on List of 100 Best Places to Live in US

A new study from Livability finds a lot to love along the Front Range, naming Aurora, Loveland, and Colorado Springs to a list of the 100 best places to live in the U.S. “Living in Aurora means residents can take full advantage of the city’s excellent amenities and strong economy,” the site said. “Biotech startups, hospitals and defense contractors provide locals with well-paying jobs. Another advantage of living in Aurora is its central location. Residents are close to Denver International Airport and can hop on I-70 to get to the mountains.”
