Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Fitzsimons Innovation Community?
A: Bringing success in public, private, and non-profit sectors is important to me. When all three sectors do well, the community does well. It brings us right back to the heart of why we’re here. I want these three sectors to thrive, and here at Fitzsimons Innovation Community we have a model that recognizes that. It’s not something that happens often. The economic driver of this campus can’t be ignored. It’s vital to the state, the metro area, and specifically to Aurora.
Q: What do you enjoy when you’re not on campus?
A: In my downtime, I love reading and particularly like the escape I get reading fiction. Being outdoors is also one of my most important tools in navigating life. I’m a backcountry skier, hiker, and cyclist. I’m excited to commute by bike here to Fitzsimons Innovation Community soon. I love Colorado and take advantage of the outdoors as much as possible.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Fitzsimons Innovation Community?
A: Being relatively new to Fitzsimons Innovation Community, I have loved site visits where I get to hear about the amazing work being done by our Community members. These brilliant minds are working to change and save lives and we are so lucky to have such a foundational Community, while still having so much opportunity for growth.
Q: What do you enjoy when you’re not on campus?
A: I love all things reading. I am in three book clubs and serve on the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation Board. Reading has always been my outlet, so if you are ever looking for book suggestions just ask me. I also enjoy time in our amazing outdoors hanging out with friends and family. Outside of that, my husband and I spend a lot of time cheering on our 15-year-old as he runs and runs and runs and try to keep up with his many other activities.
