Fitzsimons Innovation Community CEO Steve VanNurden will retire from his role at the end of the year. VanNurden has led the Aurora-based integrated life sciences campus, which includes dozens of companies and residential communities, for 12 years. A national search is now underway to find a new campus leader.
Steve VanNurden, who has led the Fitzsimons Innovation Community since 2012, is retiring, and the Aurora-based life-sciences entrepreneurship campus is embarking on a national search for its new leader.
RefinedScience, a local biosciences company will move its headquarters to Fitzsimons Innovation Community following a new lease deal. To accelerate its path to market, RefinedScience transitioned from The Foundry, a CU Innovations incubator at Fitzsimons, to a its new move-in ready space in November.
