Laura White, founder of Andon Bio and a member of Fitzsimons Innovation Community, has been selected for Activate’s 2026 fellowship cohort, joining 50 scientist-innovators working to translate scientific discoveries into commercially viable technologies.

Andon Bio is developing a nanopore-based measurement platform designed to improve the predictability of protein production, an essential process in manufacturing biologic medicines, industrial enzymes and research materials. The technology, originating from research at the University of Colorado Anschutz, aims to give scientists greater insight into the molecular processes that influence production efficiency. White’s selection provides access to Activate’s entrepreneurial training, mentorship and national innovation network, supporting Andon Bio’s continued development and commercialization efforts.
