Pathways Bioscience, a member of Fitzsimons Innovation Community, has announced the publication of new clinical research demonstrating that its proprietary botanical formulation, PB125, improved vascular function in older adults and helped preserve vascular function during periods of physical inactivity.
The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, independently conducted by researchers affiliated with the University of Utah, Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, University of Sydney and University of Alabama at Birmingham, evaluated PB125 in 44 younger and older adults. Published in Free Radical Biology and Medicine, the findings provide new evidence of PB125’s potential role in supporting vascular health and antioxidant defenses, although larger clinical studies are needed to confirm the results.
